FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q.1. Who can apply?
Answer: Only those Candidates having requisite qualification in relevant subjects can apply. Check the advertisement for Educational qualification against each post.
Q.2. What are the documents required for OTR?
Answer: All documents uploaded should be SCANNED IN ORIGINAL. HSLC and above, with all semesters mark sheet are required. HSLC/Matriculation/Equivalent Admit Card for proof of Date of Birth. No other Certificate will be accepted for age proof.
Q.3. Do I have to register for OTR again?
Answer: No. You need not register again, however if any changes is necessary as in case of additional qualifications etc can update the OTR. Candidates who have previously completed the OTR process may directly submit online application
Q.3. Who is the competent authority for SC/ST/II
certificates?
Answer: Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate, S.C, S.T & B.T Certificates should be signed only by District Authority not below the rank of Additional Deputy Commissioner.
Q.4 Why is my OTR still showing as Pending?
Answer: Your OTR must be under scrutiny/awaiting approval. Approval of OTR depends on the number of factors like number of applicants, time of application and Network issues in some cases. It is advised not to submit OTR in the last minute to avoid rejection/complications.
Q.5. What should I do, if my OTR is rejected?
Answer: Firstly, READ THE REASONS FOR REJECTION and re-submit again. Until the reasons for rejection are resolve, your OTR is liable to be rejected again.
Q.6. What do I do when it says ‘Not eligible for any
post’?
Answer: You should check the subject requirement from the Advertisement educational qualifications column. Only those subjects as requisitioned by the User Department are eligible.
Q.7 What to do if I cannot
find my equivalent elective subject?
Answer: You should inform the help desk/Technical coordinator NPSC to be listed in the elective subjects.
Q.8 Do I have to submit all the semester Mark sheets
in the OTR?
Answer: If the Percentage is already shown in the final Mark sheets (Consolidated) of B.A/M.A/B.Ed etc it is not required to submit all the semesters M/S. However, if the grade and grand total marks are not shown, and total percentage not shown in End semesters M/Sheet it is mandatory to submit all the Semesters wise M/Sheets.
Q.9 Can I submit photo stated
(Xerox) documents in OTR?
Answer: No. Only original scanned documents are to be uploaded in the OTR.
Q.10. What is Score sheet? Is
it mandatory?
Answer: Score sheet is a tabulated academic record and should be
submitted duly filled as per instructions. Candidate should submit only the
score sheet relevant to the items Numbers for which he/she is applying.
Yes. It is mandatory to upload the score Sheet in the Exam application.
Q.11. What is the Subject eligibility for Graduate
Teacher (Maths)?
Answer: As per the requisition submitted by the Department concerned. i.e
B.Sc (Hon) /M.Sc Mathematics with
B.Ed.
Or
B.Com/M.com/B.E/B.Tech with
B.Ed and having taken Mathematics as an optional subject in B.Ed course
Note: Any changes in the subject criteria
should be taken up with the department concern and not the Commission.
