NOTIFICATION

With reference to the Nagaland Public Service Commission’s Advertisement No. 4/2016 dt. 19.10.2016 and Notification dt. 11.10.2017, Item no.6, 1(one) post of Assistant Mechanical Engineer under Works & Housing Department was put on hold as it was under litigation.

In pursuance to the Hon’ble  High Court’s judgement & Order W.P.(C) No.183(K) of 2017 dated 14/05/2018 and Nagaland Public Service Commission (State Civil & other Services) Recruitment Rules, 2008 Rule 18 (I) (iii), viva voce for recruitment to one (1) post of Assistant Mechanical Engineer under Works & Housing Department will  be held on 9th August, 2018 for candidates bearing Roll numbers:

 Note:

   i.       The ratio of Candidates/Vacancies as per NPSC (State Civil & other Services) Recruitment Rules, 2008 under Rule 15(4) could not be maintained in the post in view of candidates having shortage of BT candidates.

   ii.       Viva-voce shall be on 9th August 2018 at 12:00 noon.

   iii.      Selected candidates must submit attested/self-attested photocopies of the following                    documents from 30th July till 3rd  August 2018.

(a)     HSLC/Matriculation/Equivalent Admit Card for proof of Date of Birth. No other  Certificate will be accepted for age proof.

(b)    Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate/Scheduled Tribe Certificate/Backward Tribe Certificates as relevant and applicable.

(c)     For physically handicapped candidate, certificate from competent medical authority   is required.

(d)    Proof of Educational Qualifications: Mark Sheets & Pass Certificates from     matriculation onwards till requisite qualification (In absence of Degree/Post Graduate Pass Certificate, Provisional Certificate of Institute/University must be submitted). 

(e)    No Objection Certificate from the Head of Department/Public Undertaking to be furnished, only in case the applicant is an employee of the Government or Public Undertaking.

   iv.     All relevant documents/certificates to be submitted should have been issued by the       concerned authority/institution/board/university on or before the last date of submission of   application form.

   v.      Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate, SC/ST & BT Certificates should be signed only by          District Authority not below the rank of Additional Deputy Commissioner.

   vi.     Candidates can download their Interview Call Letters from www.cte.npsc.co.in by submitting the Transaction ID of their CTSE 2016 online application form.

   vii.    Candidates requiring assistance can call up the helpdesk number 8259977429 (10:30        AM to 03:00 PM) on working days.
