NOTIFICATION
NO.NPSC/DEPTTL-1/2012 : This is to notify that the Commission will conduct Speed Test in Shorthand for Stenographer Gr.-l, Gr.-ll (Sr) & Gr.-ll (Jr) from regular Stenographer Gr.-ll (Sr), Gr.-ll (Jr) & Gr.-lll respectively in the Nagaland Public Service Commission Exam Hall (New Office Complex) as per programme given below :
PROGRAMME
11-12-2014 - 10:00 A.M. onwards 1. Speed-Test in short Hand at 150 w.p.m.
2. Speed-Test in short Hand at 130 w.p.m.
3. Speed-Test in short Hand at 120w.p.m.
1. The appointing Authorities may send the name(s) of eligible candidates in Grade wise so as to reach the undersigned on or before 08-12-2014.
2. No candidates will be allowed to appear in both lower and higher grade simultaneously at a time
3. A list of Grade wise eligible candidates for speed test in short hand at 150 w.p.m., 130 w.p.m. & 120 w.p.m. with their Roll Number will be exhibited in the Notice Board of the Commission for information and a copy will be endorsed to respective Heads of Department.
4. The Commission shall provide only short hand Note Book and typing papers. All concerned candidates should be present for the proposed tests with their own typewriting machines on the date, time and venue specified above or as may be directed subsequently. They should being their respective Identification Cards as proof of candidature and to be present at the Examination Hall half an hour or before the commencement of the test. No candidates will be allowed to sit for the Speed Test without their Identification Card.
5. It may also be made clear to the intending candidates that success in speed test shall not confer any right for promotion unless vacancy/vacancies are available in the Department and Appointing Authority is satisfied that the candidate is eligible for promotion in all respect.
6. Further, the Appointing Authorities should ensure that only the regular Stenographer Gr-II(Sr), Gr-II(Jr) & Gr.-III are allowed to sit for the speed test.
7. There may be more than 1 (one) Batch in any Grade, if number of candidates offering for that particular test is large.
