ADDENDUM/CORRIGENDUM

NO.NPSC/ADVT/EDS-2012: Reference to the Commission’s advertisement NO. NPSC-3/2019 dated 13th November, 2019, the following addendum/corrigendum shall be made:

CORRIGENDUM / ADDENDUM:

1.     Item No 1 The post of Assistant Professor, History under Higher Education Department has been increased from 4(four) posts to 7 (Seven) ( 1 (One) post unreserved 3(Three) posts reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland,  1 (One) post each reserved for B.T. Chang, Khiamniungan, & Konyak).

2.     Item No 2  The post of Assistant Professor, Education under Higher Education Department has been increased from 7 (Seven) posts to 11 (Eleven) ( 2 (Two) post unreserved 6(Six) posts reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland,  1 (One) post each reserved for B.T. Phom, Sangtam, & Sumi of Kiphire).

3.     Item No 3 The post of Assistant Professor, Sociology under Higher Education Department has been increased from 11 (Eleven) posts to 20 (Twenty) ( 4 (Four) post unreserved 11(Eleven) posts reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland,  1 (One) post each reserved for B.T. Phom, Chakhesang, Yimchunger, Zeliang & Chang).

4.     Item No 4 The post of Assistant Professor, Psychology under Higher Education Department has been increased from 2 (Two) posts to 4 (Four) ( 2 (Two) posts reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland,  1 (One) post each reserved for B.T. Yimchunger & Zeliang).

5.     Item No 6 The post of Assistant Professor, Environmental Science under Higher Education Department has been increased from 8 (Eight) posts to 12 (Twelve) ( 2 (Two) posts unreserved 6 (Six) posts reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland,  1 (One) post each reserved for B.T. Konyak, Phom, Sangtam & Chakhesang).

6.     Item No 11 The post of Assistant Professor, English under Higher Education Department has been increased from 6 (Six) posts to 11 (Eleven) ( 2 (Two) posts unreserved, 7 (Seven) posts reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland,  1 (One) post each reserved for B.T. Chang & Khiamniungan).

7.     Item No 12 The post of Assistant Professor, Economics under Higher Education Department has been increased from 1 (One) post to 3 (Three) ( 1 (One) post reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland,  1 (One) post each reserved for B.T. Yimchunger & Zeliang).

8.     Item No 13 The post of Assistant Professor, Political Science under Higher Education Department has been increased from 3 (Three) posts to 6 (Six) ( 1 (One) post unreserved 4 (Four) posts reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland,  1 (One) post reserved for B.T.  Phom).

9.     Item No 14 The post of Assistant Professor, Commerce under Higher Education Department has been increased from 2 (Two) posts to 4 (Four) ( 1 (One) post unreserved 2 (Two) posts reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland,  1 (One) post reserved for B.T. Sumi of Kiphire).

10.  Item No 15 The post of Assistant Professor, Geography under Higher Education Department has been increased from 1 (One) post to 2 (Two) ( 1 (One) post unreserved 1 (One) post reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland).

11.  Item No 16 The post of Assistant Professor, Tenyide under Higher Education Department has been increased from 2 (Two) posts to 3 (Three).

12.  Item No 17 The post of Assistant Professor, Ao under Higher Education Department has been increased from 1 (One) post to 2 (Two).

13.  Item No 18 The post of Librarian under Higher Education Department has been increased from 3 (Three) post to 5 (Five) (1 (One) post unreserved for 2 (Two) posts reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland, 1(One) post each reserved for B.T. konyak and B.T. Sumi (Kihpire))

 

 

ADDENDUM:

1.     Item No. 48 : 1(One) post of Assistant Professor Statistics under Higher Education Department (Reserved for B.T. Zeliang).

2.     Item No. 49 : 1(One) post of Assistant Professor Sociology of Education (College of Teachers Education) under Higher Education Department (Reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland).

3.     Item No.  50  : 1(One) post of Assistant Professor Childhood Studies (Psychology) (College of Teachers Education) under Higher Education Department(Reserved for B.T. Zeliang).

4.     Item No.  51   :  6 (Six) posts of Research Associate under SCERT Department.

(i)    Education (Reserved for Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland)

5.     Item No. 52    : 1 (One) post of Training-Cum- Research Assistant under SCERT Department. (Reserved for Person with Benchmark Disability).

6.     Item No. 53    :  1 (One) post of Post Graduate Teacher Geography under School Education Department.

 

AGE RELAXATION:

1.      A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st of January 2019.

2.      The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxed by:

(i)                  5 (Five) years for SC/ST candidates.

(ii)                Government Employees will be allowed age relaxation the equal number of years they are in service, subject to a maximum of 5 (Five) years.

(iii)              For Item No. 48 – 50, the upper age limit is relaxable upto 35 years for candidates having Ph.D degree in relevant field

(iv)              For Item No. 51, the upper age limit is relaxable upto 35 years for candidates having D.Sc or Ph.D degree in relevant field

 

PAY BAND:

·       Item No. 48 – 50 : Academic level - 10 with rationalised entry pay of Rs. 57,700 /-

·       Item No. 51 : 56100 – 177500 of pay matrix level – 13.

·       Item No. 52 : 43700 – 138500 of pay matrix level – 12.

·       Item No. 53 : Level 11 of the pay matrix 40800 – 129200.

 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

 

·       Item No. 48 :  (a)       Master’s Degree from a recognized University in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade relaxable by 5% in case of ST/SC and differently-abled candidates.

(b)         Clearing of National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/SLET/SET.

(c)          Candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.

(d)         NET/ SLET/ SET shall not be required for such Masters Degree Programmes in disciplines for which NET/ SLET/ SET accredited test is not conducted.

·       Item No. 49 : (a)           Post Graduate Degree in Sociology from recognized University with minimum 55% marks relaxable by 5% in case of ST/SC and differently-abled candidates.

(b)       M.Ed/ M.A in Education with minimum of 55% marks or its equivalent grade relaxable by 5% in case of ST/SC and differently-abled candidates.

(c)        NET in the Discipline or in Education.

·       Item No. 50 : (a)        Post Graduate Degree in Psychology from recognized University with minimum 55% marks relaxable by 5% in case of ST/SC and differently-abled candidates.

(b)       M.Ed/ M.A in Education with minimum of 55% marks or its equivalent grade relaxable by 5% in case of ST/SC and differently-abled candidates.

(c)        NET in the Discipline or in Education.

 

·       Item No. 51 :   (a) M.A (Education), Experience in curriculum Development & Assessment.

(b) M.A (Psychology), B.Ed. with Diploma in Guidance and Counselling.

 (c) M.Com. B.Ed. with Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Planning and    Administration.

                                    (d) M.A (Environmental Science), B.Ed.

                                    (e) M.A (History), B.Ed.

                                    (f) M.A (Linguistics), B.Ed.

(i)    Candidate having Master degree in Environmental Science from any discipline can also apply for the post of Research Associate Item No. 51 (d) (Environmental Science)

(ii)  Preference will be given to candidates having Master / Diploma in Teaching of English for Research Associate Item No. 51 (f) (Linguistic)

(iii)                   Selected Candidates for Item No. 51 (a) M.A. (Education) and Item No. 52. M.Sc. (Physics) who does not possess B.Ed. will be required to complete the B.Ed. course within a period of 4 years at their own expense beyond which they will not be eligible for further increment / promotion to higher posts

·       Item No. 52 :   M.Sc PHYSICS with B.Ed.

·       Item No. 53 :  Post Graduate with atleast 50% marks (or an equivalent) relaxable by 5% for SC/ST/differently abled candidates at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from recognised university. B.Ed.

·       Item No. 23. Should be read as Pedagogy of Social Science with requisite qualification, (a) Master Degree in the Social Sciences (Political Science / Economics / Geography / Commerce) with 55% marks. (b) M.Ed. with 55% marks and (c) NET in the Subject of Specialization or Education.

·       Item No. 25 : Requisite qualification for Performing Arts should be read as. (a) Post Graduate degree in Theatre Art with 55% marks relaxable by 5% for ST/SC, NET. (b) NET shall not be required for a professional artist with first class degree / diploma from National School of Drama or any other such approved institution in India or Abroad.

 

·       University/Institution certified copy of Conversion formula for conversion of GPA/CGPA/OGPA into Marks % (Percentage) must be produced as and when called for.

 

NOTE:

1.           Implementation of reservation in the state is in accordance with the notification issued vide  NO.RCBT 5/87(Pt-II) dt. 14-04-2011, 15-06-2012 & 04.09.2015, NO.AR-3/ GEN-9/97 dt. 16/01/2008. And NO.AR-3/Gen-9/97 dt. 13/08/2020.

2.           University/Institution certified copy of Conversion formula for conversion of GPA/CGPA/OGPA into Marks % (Percentage) must be produced as and when called for.

3.           For candidates who are Government Employees, “NO OBJECTION               CERTIFICATE” signed by the Head of the Department should be uploaded while submitting online application.

4.           The Commission also reserves the right to verify the documents submitted by the candidates anytime during the examination process. In case it is found that the documents submitted by the candidates are not genuine, then his/her candidature shall be terminated and disciplinary/ criminal proceeding will be initiated. The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admission to the examination shall be final.

6.           Syllabus for Performing Arts, Psychology, Hindi, Environmental Science and Ao shall be made available as and when furnished by the department.

7.           OTR (One Time Registration) will be mandatory for filling up of online application for CESE 2019 and future online applications.

8.           Online application can be submitted by login in to e-District portal i.e. https://edistrict.nagaland.gov.in

9.           Online application will be available from 12:00 Noon of 05.02.2021 till 12:00 Noon of

26.02.2021 12:00 Noon.

10.        In case of any assistance / information / clarification regarding application etc. candidates may call the Commission’s Helpdesk No. +91 8259977429 on working days between 10:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs. Any issues / complaints must be settled on or before the last date of submission of online application. No issues / complaints will be entertained thereafter.

11.       Age Relaxation, Pay Band and Educational qualification requirement for Sl. 1- 13 shall remain the same.

12.       3 (Three) posts of Assistant Professor (Humanities & Commerce subjects) under Higher Education Will be reserved for Person with Benchmark Disability.

13.       1 (One) post of Assistant Professor (Science subjects) under Higher Education Will be reserved for Person with Benchmark Disability.

14.       1 (One) post of Librarian under Higher Education Will be reserved for Person with Benchmark Disability.

15.       1 (One) post of Post Graduate Teacher under School Education Department Will be reserved for Person with Benchmark Disability.

16.       OTR (One Time Registration) will be free of cost, but a Candidate has to pay an Amount of Rs. 310 /- only while filling up of online application.

 

Note: The dates for written examination will be notified through local media/ Commission’s website at a later date.
