ADDENDUM/CORRIGENDUM
With reference to the Nagaland Public Service Commission’s Advertisement NO.5/2018 dated 20th Dec, 2018, the following Addendum/Corrigendum shall be made as mentioned below.
ADDENDUM
Item No.1: (a) The number of posts of SDO (Electrical Engineering) (Group-A) under Power Department has been increased from 1(one) to 6(Six) posts. (1(one) post each reserved for BT Yimchunger & Zeliang)
Item No. 5: (a) Bachelor of planning with masters of planning is also included as an educational qualification for the post of Assistant Urban Development Officer vide letter No.UDD/82-ESTT/REQ/99/2013(B) dated 18th Jan.2019.
(b) M.Sc (Geography) and bachelor of planning is also included as an educational qualification for the post of Planning Assistant vide letter No.UDD/82-ESTT/REQ/99/2013(B) dated 18th Jan.2019.
Item No. 26: 6 (Six) posts of Motor Vehicle Inspector (Grade-III) under Transport Department.
(1(one) post reserved for BT Yimchunger)
Educational Qualification:
Item No.26: (a) Minimum general educational qualification of a pass in X standard, and
: A Diploma in Automobile Engineering
: (3 years course)
Or
: Diploma in Mechanical Engineer awarded by the state Board of Technical Education :(3 years course) and
: Working Experience of at least one year in a reputed automobile workshop which undertakes repairs of both light motor vehicles, heavy goods vehicles and heavy passenger motor vehicles fitted with petrol and diesel engine and
: Must hold a driving licence authorizing to drive motor cycle, heavy goods vehicles and heavy passenger motor vehicles.

CORRIGENDUM
Item No. 7: (b) 2(two) posts of Forest Ranger (Class-II Gazetted) under Environment, Forest & Climate Change Department. (1(one) post reserved for BT Chakhesang) and not as rendered earlier.
Item No. 13: Elective subject to be opted:
Horticulture/Agriculture Science and not as rendered earlier.
Item No.14: Educational Qualification.
(a) B.E Civil Engineering/Diploma in Civil Engineering and not as rendered earlier.
(b) B.E Electrical Engineering/Diploma in Electrical Engineering and not as rendered earlier.
Fresh candidates having Bachelor in planning with masters of planning only may apply for item No.5(a) and candidates having M.Sc (Geography) and Bachelor in planning only may apply for item No.5(b).
Candidates who have already submitted their application form may opt for addition of posts in order of preference by writing an application in plain paper addressed to Secretary, Nagaland Public Service Commission kohima on or before the last date of form submission.
Application can be downloaded and submitted for item No.5 (a)(b) & 26 only with effect from 04-02-2019.
The last date for submission of application form is 13-02-2019.
Other terms and conditions of the advertisement remain the same.
