With reference to the Nagaland Public Service Commission’s Advertisement No.3/2017 dated 7/12/2017 the following Addendum/Corrigendum shall be made as mentioned below,

Item No.29: The candidates shall hold at least a Second class Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil or Chemical Engineering or Agriculture of a recognised university or equivalent foreign Qualification. Preference shall be given to those candidates who possess B.Sc/ M.Sc (Forestry). 50% posts of the total direct recruitment post shall be kept reserved for Forestry Graduates. In the case of candidates who had a degree in pure mathematics or Statistics, they must have taken one of the following subjects in their higher secondary or Matriculation or equivalent examination:-
(1)Biology (2) Physics (3) Chemistry. The candidates must have secured at least 50% of the aggregate marks.
Physical Fitness.
(a) A candidates who is successful in the competitive examination and interview held by the commission must pass physical test and meet minimum physical standard as prescribe below:
(i) Male candidate who come out successful in the competitive examination must pass walking test covering a distance of 25 (twenty five) Kms, within four hours on foot and for female candidate, a distance of 16 (sixteen) Kms within four hours on foot.

With reference to the Nagaland Public Service Commission Advertisement No.3/2017 dated 7/12/2017 the following Corrigendum shall be made as mentioned below,
Item No.1(c): The Elective subject for the posts of Medical Physicist will be Medical Physics and not as mentioned earlier.
Item No.13 : The educational Qualification for the posts should be read as Graduate in economics/Statistics/Mathematics/ Commerce/ Development studies/ Agri. as one of the subject and not as mentioned earlier vide letter No.PLN/M-387/09 dated 5-1-18.
Syllabus for Medical Physics (Item No. 1 (c) & Industrial Engineering ( Item No.3) has been uploaded in the Commission’s website. The candidates can download the same at www.npsc.co.in.
Those degree candidates who have already applied for the post of J.E and submitted their diploma certificates only and now desirous of opting for the post of SDO should submit their Degree Certificates along with an application exercising their preference of posts on or before the last date of form submission.
Candidates who have already submitted their application form may opt for addition of posts in order of preference by writing an application in plain paper addressed to Secretary, Nagaland Public Service Commission, Kohima on or before the last date of form submission.
Application forms can be downloaded & submitted for Item No.27-33 only with effect from 13-03-2018 onwards.
The last date for submission of application form is 31-03-2018
Other terms and conditions of the advertisement remain the same.
