NO.NPSC/ADVT-1/04:: Applications are invited for filling up the following vacancies under the Government of Nagaland in the manner prescribed below:

 

Item No. 1:   8(Eight) Posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (Class-I Gazetted) under Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Department.

Item No. 2:   1(One) Post of Assistant Geologist (Class-I Gazetted) under Geology & Mining Department.

Item No. 3:   2(Two) Posts of District Evaluation Officer (Class-II Gazetted) under Planning and Co-ordination Department.

Item No. 4:   (a) 1(One) Post of Junior Lecturer (Class-II Gazetted)

                     (b) 4(Four) Posts of Junior Soil Conservation Officer (Class-II Gazetted)

                     (c) 1(One) Post of Assistant Soil Survey Officer (Class-II Gazetted)

                     (d) 1(One) Post of Assistant Research Officer (Class-II Gazetted) and

(e) 2(Two) Posts of Ranger (Class-II Gazetted) under Soil & Water Conservation Department.

Educational Qualification:

Item No.1:    B.V Sc. & A.H/Mv.Sc/G.B.Vc/G.M.Vc/G.V.Sc or Equivalent.

Item No.2:    Masters degree in Geology from any recognized University

Or

                     M.Tech. in Applied Geology or its equivalent.

Item No.3:    Masters degree in Statistics/Economics/Agricultural Economics/Mathematics/Commerce/Social Work/ Sociology/Rural Economics/Education.

Or

                     Graduate in any of the above subject with three years experience as Evaluation Inspector.

                     Candidates with Masters Degree in Agricultural Economics/Rural Economics may opt for Economics and Masters Degree in Social Work may opt for Sociology as optional subjects in lieu of their subjects.

Item No. 9:   Degree or 3(three) years Diploma in Drilling/Mining/Mechanical/Automobile Engineering from a recognized University.

Item No. 10: (a) M.Sc. Mathematics with 60% and above.

(b) B.E./B.Tech. Computer Science & Engg. with 60% and above.

(c) B.E./B.Tech. Mechanical Engg. with 60% and above.

NOTE

 

1.      The upper age limit is relaxable by:

(a) 5(five) years for candidates belonging to SC/ST.

(b) Age concession for serving Government employees will be allowed, the equal number of years they are in service subject to a maximum of 5(five) years.

 

2.      80% of the vacancies are reserved for the candidates belonging to (a) Any Naga Tribe (b) Kuki (c) Kachari (d) Garo and (e) Mikir provided such persons are Indigenous Inhabitant of the State of Nagaland. 25% of the vacancies are reserved for the candidates belonging (a) Chang (b) Khiamniungan (c) Konyak (d) Phom (e) Sangtam and (f) Yimchunger. Further balance of the vacancies are reserved for the candidates belonging to Chakhesang Tribe 4%, Zeliang Tribe 4%, Pochury Tribe 2% and 2% for Sumis of Kiphiri District vide Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department Notification NO’s. RCBT-5/87 (Pt-II) dated14-04-2011 and dated 15-06-2012.

 

3.      Application forms, syllabus and pattern of exam can be obtained from the office of the Commission on payment of Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) being fee for forms & exams or downloaded from the Commission’s website at www.npsc.co.in.

 

4.      Candidates can apply Online through the Nagaland State Portal at https://nagaland.gov.in or through any NagalandOne Common Service Center (CSC). Details of the Online Application Form, instructions to the candidates and list of operational CSCs are available on the Commission’s website.

Note for candidates who apply online:

i.    Only those candidates who had been allotted Roll No. for Combined Technical Services Examination 2012 can apply online.

ii.   Candidates must upload scanned images of their photograph, signature and/or No Objection Certificate from the Head of Department (for serving Government employees only). They need not submit/upload any other documents.

iii.  Candidates who apply online must pay the fees online through the designated payment gateway  for which a transaction fee will be charged by the service provider (NDML) as per the rates given below:

5.      Candidates who desire to submit personally at the Commissions office must attach original money receipt issued by the commission or may submit by Regd. Post and must enclose Bank Draft for Rs. 300/-(Rupees three hundred only) payable to Secretary, Nagaland Public Service Commission.

 6.      Applications must be complete in all respect and accompanied by all prescribed documents specified in the application form and Instructions to Applicants given below. Any application without all requisite documents specified including unsigned application, elective subjects of the concerned discipline shall be summarily rejected.

 

7.      INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS

i.      Only candidates who possess requisite qualification at the time of applying will be eligible to apply for the post(s).

ii.     Receipt of examination fee issued by the Commission - Original to be enclosed.

iii.    1 (one) copy of recent passport-size photograph to be pasted in the space provided.

iv.    One self-addressed envelope (9”x4”).

v.     No Objection Certificate from the Head of Department/Public Undertaking to be furnished on the body of the application itself, only in case the applicant is an employee of the Government or Public Undertaking.

vi.    Attested photocopy of the following documents/materials should be submitted:

a)      HSLC/Matriculation/Equivalent Admit Card for proof of Date of Birth. No other Certificate will be accepted for age proof.

b)      Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate.

c)      Scheduled Tribe Certificate/Backward Tribe/Physically Handicapped Certificates as relevant and applicable.

d)      Proof of Educational Qualifications: Mark Sheets & Pass Certificates from matriculation onwards till requisite qualification (In absence of Degree/Post Graduate Pass Certificate, Provisional Certificate of Institute/University must be submitted).

e)      Internship completion Certificate & Registration Certification issued by Medical Council of India/Indian Veterinary Council/BAR Council/Dental Council of India/Indian Association of Physiotherapy is necessary for Medical/Veterinary/LLB/Dental/Physiotherapy Candidates.

 8.      For Physically handicapped candidate, certificate from competent medical authority is required.

 

9.      Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate (I.I.C), S.C/S.T & B.T. (if applicable) certificates. Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate, S.C/S.T & B.T Certificates should be signed only by District Authority not below the rank of Additional Deputy Commissioner.

    

10.      Application received after the last date for submission shall be rejected. For applications submitted by registered post relaxation will be granted till 08.01.2014  provided it is addressed to the Secretary, Nagaland Public Service Commission and dispatched/posted on or before the last date for submission of application, i.e. 18.12.2013

11.      Application forms will be issued from 04.12.2013 onwards.

12.      The last date for submission of application is 18.12.2013.
