ADDENDUM
NO.NPSC/ADVT/EDS-2012:: In continuation to the Nagaland Public Service Commission Advertisement No.NPSC-3/2013 dated 18th Sept. 2013, applications are invited for filling up the following vacancies under the Government of Nagaland.

(iii) Candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. |

SCALE OF PAY
Item No. 25-28 : P.B.– 3,Rs.15,600 – 39,100/- +AGP Rs. 6,000/-
Item No. 29 : P.B. –3, Rs.15,600 – 39,100/- +GP Rs. 5,700/-
AGE LIMIT AS ON 01-01-2013: Minimum - 21 yrs. Maximum - 30 yrs.
The upper age is relaxable by :
(i) 5 (Five) years for SC/ST Candidates.
(ii) Government Employees will be allowed age relaxation the equal number of years they are in service, subject to a maximum of 5 (Five) years.
(iii) For Physically Handicapped persons, the upper age limit will be permitted relaxation of 10(Ten) years and 3% post reservation will be maintained, wherever applicable as per Government Notification NO.AR-3/ GEN-9/97 dt. 16/01/2008. In order to avail relaxation, a certificate from competent Medical Authority should be submitted along with the application form.
(iv) For Item NO. 25-28, further relaxation of 5(Five) years shall be allowed for candidates with Ph.D and M.Phil qualification.
Note:
1. Candidates are advised to access the Commission’s Notice Board or Website at www.npsc.co.in for other terms and conditions.
2. The number of posts for the following disciplines has been increased:
(i) Assistant Professor in Economics (Item No 4)- 1(one) post to 4(four) posts
(ii) Assistant Professor in Education (Item No 5)- 2(two) posts to 5(five) posts
(iii) Assistant Professor in Mathematics (Item No 6)- 1(one) post to 2(two) posts
(iv) Assistant Professor in Political Science (Item No 8)- 1(one) post to 4(four) posts
(v) Assistant Professor in Education-BEd College(Item No 13)- 1(one) post) to 2(two) posts
3. Candidates who have already applied may give post preference in plain paper addressed to Secretary, on or before the last date of submission.
4. The written examination is re-scheduled to be held next year 2014, date will be notified later.
5. The last date for submission of Application Form is 2.12.2013.
For Applications submitted by registered post, a relaxation of 5 (Five) days is granted, provided it is dispatched by post on or before the last date of submission and addressed to the Secretary, N.P.S.C.
6. Application Forms will be issued from 25.11.2013 on working days from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
7. Other terms and conditions remain the same.
