Corrigendum/Addendum
In inviting a reference to the Commission’s Advertisement No. 1/2012 dated 11th January, 2012 the qualifications and post segregation for Item No.12 may be read as follows.
(a) Lecturer-NCTE(1 posts):: (i) MA with Linguistics with 50% and BEd/MEd. with 55% marks or its equivalent grade with 5% marks relaxation for ST/SC candidates.
(ii) Any other stipulation prescribed by the UGC in the general norms including a pass in the NCT/SLET/SET prescribed in these regulations shall be mandatory.
(b) Lecturer-(1 post):: (i) Master’s Degree from a recognized University in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade relaxable by 5% in case of ST/SC.
(ii) Clearing of National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/SLET/SET.
(iii) Candidates who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
