 ADVERTISEMENT NO. 1/2011-2012 

NO.NPSC/ADVT/NON-TECH/1/2010 : Applications are invited for filling up the vacancies under the Government of Nagaland for Special Recruitment of EAC (Junior Grade) NCS against less represented Tribes, in the manner prescribed, vide Requisition Letter NO.PAR-7/4/79 dated 15-07-2011. 1 (One) post each for the following Tribes, viz:

 

1.      Rengma. 2. Chakhesang. 3. Pochury. 4. Zeliang. 5. Sangtam. 6. Yimchunger.

 

7. Khiamniungan. 8. Chang. 9. Phom. 10. Konyak.

 

ITEM NO. 1 : 10 (Ten) posts of Extra Assistant Commissioner (Class – I Gazetted, Junior Grade) under Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department, Nagaland.

 QUALIFICATION : 

            Bachelor’s Degree from any discipline, including Divinity, from a recognized University.

 SCALE OF PAY : 

            P.B. Rs. 15,600 – 39100 with G.P. Rs. 5400/- pm.

 AGE AS ON 01-01-2011: 

                        Minimum                                  Maximum

                        21 Yrs.                                     30 Yrs.

 NOTE : 

1.         The Upper age is relaxable by :

 

(a)    5 (Five) years for SC/ST Candidates.

(b)   Age relaxation for Serving Government Employees will be allowed the equal number of years they are in service, subject to a maximum of 5 (Five) years.

 

2.         Only candidates who possess Degree qualification will be eligible to apply for the Post.

 

3.         Application Form can be obtained from the Commission’s Office on payment of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundred)only by cash or Demand Draft drawn in favour of Secretary, Nagaland Public Service Commission, Kohima, payable at Kohima, being fees for Form and Examination. The candidates can download the Application Form, Attendance Sheet, Pattern of Examination and Syllabus from the Commission’s Website at www.npsc.co.in

 

4.         For candidates who are Government Employees and still serving, “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” portion in the Application Form should be signed by the Head of the Department, with Name and Office Seal, along with date of appointment.

 

5.         For the Preliminary Examination, candidates must submit 3 (Three) copies of recent passport size photographs, original examination fee receipt issued by the Commission/Bank Draft and a Self-Addressed envelope (Size 9” x 4”). Other documents are not required. However, candidates must completely fill in the Form by providing accurate information in all matters.

 

6.         For the Preliminary Examination, there will be one common paper of General Studies only. Syllabus will be issued to the candidates at the time of issue of Application Form.

 

7.         Immediately on declaration of the Preliminary Examination result, candidates selected for the Main Examination must submit attested photocopies of the following to the Commission, with an application in plain paper.

 

8.         HSLC/Matriculation/Equivalent Admit Card for proof of Date of Birth. No other certificates will be entertained for proof of age.

 

9.         Mark Sheet from HSLC/Equivalent onwards till requisite qualification. For Doctors, Internship completion certificate is required. If this certificate does not contain Registration Number, then, Registration certificate is required.

 

10.       Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate (I.I.C.), SC/ST. Certificates should be signed only by District Authority not below the rank of Additional Deputy Commissioner.

 

11.       If the information given in the Application Form during Preliminary Examination does not match with the certificates submitted during the Main Examination, concerned candidates will be disqualified and stern disciplinary action taken and may even debarred from future examinations conducted by Nagaland Public Service Commission.

 

12.       Incomplete (Including unsigned) Application in any respect and/or applications received after the closing date shall be rejected.

 

13.       For Applications submitted from outside Nagaland, a relaxation of 10 (Ten) days is granted, provided it is dispatched by post on or before the last date of submission and addressed to the Secretary, N.P.S.C.

 

14.       The last date for submission of application Form is 26-08-2011

 

15.       Application Forms will be issued only from  08-08-2011.
